Overview

André Melançon's award-winning film unfolds on an Argentine pampas ranch, where three siblings spend a summer with their grandfather. Felipe, the youngest, bonds with a puppy, while his brother Daniel tames and trains his first horse. Their thirteen-year-old sister Laura navigates the tricky passage from childhood toward adulthood. The children clash with their proud, stubborn grandfather, who gradually realizes he must bend and try to understand them. Together they share the pleasures and pains of growing up and growing old.
