Right to Fight

Overview

Marian 'Lady Tyger' Trimiar, Cathy 'Cat' Davis, and 'Pretty' Pat Pineda once dominated the headlines, challenging the sexist norms of the 1970s to claim their place in the boxing ring. Today, however, they live in obscurity, often struggling financially, their pivotal roles in sports overlooked by male-dominated narratives. This documentary reveals the untold story of women’s boxing, highlighting the courageous pioneers who risked everything to fight. While it inspires, the film also delves into the darker aspects of their journeys, presenting a complex picture of their triumphs and tribulations in a male-centric world.
