Overview

Successful New York defense attorney Adam Hayward receives alarming news: his war buddy from Anzio is facing legal trouble in England. Prompted by his secretary’s suggestion, he travels to his friend's village instead of sending financial aid. Upon arrival, Adam discovers his friend is on trial for the murder of a stable-hand named Lawrence.
