White Paradise

Overview

Samuel, a widower, raises his seven-year-old daughter by himself. Stressed and at his breaking point, he retreats to a chalet in the Italian Alps that he had been renovating with his late wife. He pays little mind to the fury of locals who assist the police in tracking down migrants, until he encounters a woman who has escaped Afghanistan. Samuel offers to help her reach the border, assuming it will only take a few hours. Then a hostile band of men begins pursuing them…
