Overview

A year after his dad vanished in a Christmas Day shooting, ten-year-old Jesse Genesis crafts a “12 Days of Christmas” challenge for himself. He’s convinced that finishing every task—from mastering karate to becoming a black belt—will magically bring his father home. His driven, workaholic mother Abby clings to hope through the visions Jesse describes.
