Overview

Assad seizes the opportunity of the green card lottery visa at the US embassy, crafting countless tales of fictitious families escaping war. His luck changes when one story is selected, prompting him to enlist Kamal, a Somali-American who has recently returned home, to assist in assembling the ideal characters for their interviews. Having successfully submitted numerous fabricated families, their elaborate scheme teeters on the brink of exposure, forcing both men to navigate a web of deception and desperation as the stakes rise.
