Overview

Insurance salesman Tom and his wife Jenny navigate the challenges of early marriage in a cramped apartment, struggling on Tom's limited income. Meanwhile, Drew, Tom's carefree army buddy and heir to a car-hire business, faces pressure from his wealthy uncle to settle down before inheriting. To avoid his uncle's wrath, Drew convinces the charming Jenny to pretend to be his wife during the uncle's visit.
