Overview

In a Puerto Rican coastal town, teenager Bebo and his brother scrape by fishing from their public housing complex. But desperation pulls them into illegal work that promises quick cash. When a deal turns violent and someone is killed, Bebo goes on the run with Lola, a rich girl desperate to leave her own broken world behind. Together they wind through maze-like mountains, crossing paths with people clinging to a vanishing way of life, while killers track their every move. With the hitmen closing in, Bebo faces the weight of what he's done and must choose: can he still find redemption, or will the sea become their only way out?
