Rio (2011)

Overview

Blu, a macaw who was snatched by smugglers as a chick, has always led a comfortable life in Minnesota with his owner, Linda, never having discovered the thrill of flight. Believed to be the last of his species, he learns about Jewel, a female macaw residing in Rio de Janeiro. Eager to meet her, Blu and Linda travel to Brazil, but they soon fall into the clutches of animal traffickers. Together, Blu and Jewel manage to break free, embarking on a daring journey to reclaim their freedom and reunite with Linda.
