Overview

As Fantaghiro and Romualdo prepare for their wedding, their happiness is shattered when the malevolent Black Queen kidnaps Fantaghiro's father. Determined to rescue him, Romualdo sets off with his soldiers. However, the cunning Black Queen uses her dark magic to impersonate Fantaghiro, ensnaring Romualdo in her spell and capturing his army. Defying her promise to stay behind, Fantaghiro ventures out, only to find the camp abandoned. She boldly confronts the Black Queen in a duel, only to be taken aback when she discovers Romualdo no longer remembers her due to the Queen's enchantment.
