Kadın Berberi

Overview

Lale, the sole heiress of a wealthy family, inherits everything from her parents. During a boat trip, she encounters Erol, a hairdresser. They're drawn to each other at first, but Lale ruins things by mocking his profession. Erol's clients adore him, though. Lale invites him over, pretending her maid Suna is the landlady and posing as a pedicurist herself. They reconcile, but her cousin Cemil, eager to claim her fortune through marriage, tells Erol about his intentions, driving him away. Cemil and his mother scheme to poison Lale, but Suna overhears and alerts Erol, who rushes in to save her just in time. Police arrest Cemil, and his mother dies after drinking the poisoned milk meant for Lale. Ultimately, Lale weds Erol, and Suna marries Erol's friend Tayfur.
