Episode Overview
The Simon family is having a fun day at the ballpark when a young girl snatches AJ's wallet. AJ chases her down and manages to catch her, but Allison insists it's just a rite of passage for her group, prompting him to let her go. Later, the girl appears at the office, claiming to return items that fell from AJ's wallet and asking for help. However, when AJ and Rick turn away, she steals Rick's $1,000 camera. It’s revealed she’s resorting to prostitution to survive, and her pimp wants a fellow worker—who is also her friend—dead. Determined to protect her friend, Allison pawns the camera for groceries. When she faces danger from clients, she seeks refuge at AJ's place for the night. Although grateful for his kindness, she still takes AJ's gun. AJ and Rick eventually catch up with her, only to find her friend on the brink of death.
