After finding fortune, former British soldier Gavin Heath (Leo Genn) makes his way back to Medicine Bow, a place he once called home. However, his return takes a dark turn when he is bitten by a seemingly rabid dog. Believing he might have just a month left to live, Heath is compelled to face the cowardice that has haunted him from his past.
