Overview

Margarita, an ABS-CBN primetime drama headlined by Pinoy Big Brother Season 2 alum Wendy Valdez, was touted as the network’s most daring and provocative offering yet. Valdez first teased the project during a guest spot on *The Buzz*, building anticipation for its 6 PM timeslot debut. The series followed a young woman who, driven by a fierce desire to provide for her family, takes on work as a showgirl—entertaining men and indulging their fantasies for a paycheck. Beneath the sequins and smiles, however, she quietly yearns for genuine happiness and a love that could transform her life. Despite the hype, the show was pulled from the air on September 21, 2007, leaving its narrative unresolved after barely two months.
