Overview
Bradin, Nikki, and Derrick's lives shatter when their parents die in a tragic car accident, leaving them in the care of their aunt Ava Gregory. Relocating to her California home in Summerland, Ava, a struggling fashion designer, must navigate the challenges of parenting alongside her best friend and business partner, Susannah, former pro-surfer Jay, and her ex-boyfriend Johnny, a real estate agent.
