Pepper Ann receives an exciting call from her dad, who teases a surprise visit. Eagerly anticipating his arrival, she dreams of a perfect Thanksgiving. Meanwhile, Lydia and her aunt Janny are determined to create an unforgettable holiday. However, chaos ensues as the turkey gets burned and Ned devours all the yams, forcing them to improvise with Butterscotch pudding as a substitute. They eventually settle on a backup plan that salvages dinner. Ultimately, Pepper Ann discovers her dad won’t arrive until next week, but everyone, including Milo—whom she invited—still enjoys a heartwarming meal together, leaving Pepper Ann feeling thankful.
