The kidnappers demand Meredith’s presence, knowing she can identify them, as part of a hefty ransom in exchange for Richard’s son. Richard discovers that Angela orchestrated Meredith’s placement in his home and vows to make her pay for her betrayal. Meanwhile, Chase heads to Oklahoma to assess Dan Fixx, Vicky’s boyfriend, and ends up being assaulted by the town’s corrupt police chief and his thugs. Lance stands firm, refusing to declare Melissa mentally incompetent after her breakdown. After selling his winery to Lance, Eric persuades Angela to let him run the spa. Emma learns she isn't pregnant with Dwayne's baby and decides she wants to start a family with Karlotti.
