Nine teams gather at the Myrtle Beach boardwalk in South Carolina, where Tyler Florence tasks them with crafting the ultimate portable summer dish. One team unexpectedly claims victory, but chaos ensues when a food truck gets into an accident. Tyler then presents a new challenge: to prepare a dish centered around a seafood classic. However, one team opts out of this round. In the end, one team is sent home, while the remaining eight make their way to Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, determined to fight for the $50,000 grand prize.
