Grand Designs Australia S02E01 - Brighton Sixties

Episode Overview

Throughout the years, Nick and Anna McKimm have turned renovating, selling, and moving into a bit of a pastime. However, with three young kids in tow, they’re now eager to establish a lasting home and create their ideal living space. They envision a sleek, modernist family house inspired by the 60s, set on a spacious half-acre lot in Brighton, a bayside suburb of Melbourne. Nick leads a thriving building company, well-versed in quality period reproductions, especially classical designs, while Anna excels in creating stunning interiors. They’re about to discover that mid-century construction presents unique challenges distinct from other architectural styles.
