Raj is excited to celebrate after selling a children's story to a magazine, so he decides to throw a party. However, Shirley feels hesitant to attend since she doesn't want to arrive without a date. To help her out, Raj and Rerun take matters into their own hands to find her someone. Raj even resorts to hiring an escort for her, while Rerun tricks his brother into asking Shirley out.
