As the X-Men focus on restoring the Institute, Mystique manages to break free from her confinement. Taking on the guise of Alex, she deceives Scott into a dangerous situation, ultimately abandoning him in the heart of the Mexican desert, stripped of his glasses. Struggling with his surroundings and his impaired vision, Scott must find a way to survive while unraveling the truth behind the betrayal.
