Twitch lies in a hospital bed, both physically injured and mentally fractured. The blame for the shooting has fallen on Spawn, while the real culprit, Chief Banks, operates under Jason Wynn's influence. Seeking refuge from the chaos outside, Spawn turns to Cogliostro, who reveals that his red cloak can reshape him into any form, even that of a human. In this guise, Spawn tries to see Wanda but instead encounters Granny, a wise blind woman who senses the truth about her daughter's deceased husband. Is he a returning angel or a harbinger of doom? Meanwhile, Twitch struggles to recall the identity of his shooter while Wynn chastises Banks for his failure. If Twitch remembers that Banks pulled the trigger, it could unravel Wynn's corrupt empire. Pressure mounts as Terry Fitzgerald reaches out to NSC investigators, providing crucial evidence that could topple Wynn. As Wynn's grip weakens, an old acquaintance contacts Jason with news about Terry.
