Once back on land, Luke roams the streets and is drawn in by the strong aroma of durian, a potent tropical fruit. He samples 'banh can', a local dish cooked on small roadside burners. At Luong Son fish market, he anxiously awaits feedback from the locals on his chargrilled calamari. Finally, Luke explores a barramundi farm that also grows sea grapes, which inspires his final dish.
