Episode Overview

Lion-O, constantly overshadowed by his older brother Tygra, prepares for the ritual to be selected by the Sword of Omens as Thundera's next king. His father, Claudus, doubts Lion-O's readiness, believing him to be too indulgent and distracted by fanciful tales of ancient technology. Shortly after, King Claudus hosts a celebration to honor the return of his friend Grune and to commemorate the late Panthro. During the festivities, Lion-O takes a stand for two captured Lizards, successfully persuading his father to set them free.
