After returning from a Hawaiian getaway, Curtis plans to settle in with his son Ted and his family. However, he quickly discovers that Ted’s mother-in-law, Lucy—who is also Curtis's new business partner—has moved in with them. Grumpy and irritable, Curtis is frustrated that he now has to deal with her antics both at their workplace and in his own home.
