Episode Overview
A former CIA agent's inquiry into the Roswell incident reaches a pivotal point when a significant journal belonging to Major Jesse Marcel is put to the test. Marcel, the first government representative on the scene, was a US Army intelligence officer. Investigator Ben Smith is taken to a clandestine site thought to be the actual location of the object, as a local archaeologist uncovers signs of a potential military cleanup. Meanwhile, a prominent code-breaker strives to interpret the journal, which may be encoded with crucial details about Roswell. Witnesses recount strange occurrences linked to the famous crash, while advanced technology attempts to extract text from a 70-year-old photograph that could shed light on the enigma: Did an alien spacecraft really crash at Roswell?
