Episode Overview

Patrick Tarloff, an English professor at a university, regained his sight at 28 after losing it in a childhood accident. However, the moment the bandages are taken off, he doesn’t just perceive the world that had been shrouded in darkness for over two decades; he also encounters an enigmatic woman. His neurosurgeon, Dr. Angus McCadden, and psychologist, Dr. Louise Burroughs, believe she’s merely a figment of his imagination. Yet, Patrick soon finds himself communicating with her and even physically touching her. Her name is Kyra, and she writes in luminous letters that hover in the air, pleading for his assistance to return home.
