Emma unexpectedly encounters Caroline, a long-lost college friend known for her incessant chatter. Struggling to get a word in, Emma allows Caroline to think she’s childless and introduces Clara as her neighbor instead. When Clara’s job opportunity with Caroline spirals into chaos, Emma finds herself in a tricky situation. At the same time, Fred is determined to assemble a piece of furniture as a gift for Jean, who is nearing her due date, while Helena supports him in the effort.
