Lord of the Flies
Overview
Following a plane crash, a group of schoolboys ends up marooned on a deserted tropical island, cut off from any adult supervision. Ralph is chosen as their leader, and with the assistance of the clever Piggy, he tries to uphold a sense of order and civilization. However, Jack, who is in charge of the signal fire, becomes more obsessed with hunting and asserting his dominance. This shift causes growing rifts among the boys, driving them further away from hope and stability into a downward spiral of chaos and despair.
