Meanwhile, The Phantom Blot deploys a spy within the Navy while holding Scrooge McDuck and Launchpad McQuack captive on Cat Island, where they had been investigating Scrooge's fishing fleet. As the two plots unfold, the nephews' misguided efforts to elevate Donald to hero status collide with the darker schemes of The Phantom Blot.
