Meanwhile, our host visits a local shop where expert Steve Boodakian shares insights on Oriental carpets, alongside Tibetan carpet weaver and repairer Jampa Tenzing, who showcases live demonstrations. Back at the site, Tom installs a custom mahogany front door equipped with hand-cast period brass hardware. The team then explores the recently completed Dream House by Robert A. M. Stern in Connecticut, before checking on the wainscoting installation and hanging a “hidden” door with concealed hinges, discussing plans for cabinetry to conceal the living room's flat-screen TV when not in use.
