Episode Overview

Team Dai-Gurren has seized the enemy fortress, yet grief still weighs heavily on everyone—Simon most of all—after losing one of their own. When Simon tumbles off a cliff, he spots a Gunman dropping a capsule into a deep ravine. Using the same drill key he pilots Lagann with, he manages to open it, revealing a young human girl named Nia inside. Their first meeting is abruptly interrupted, however, when an enemy Gunman shows up.
