A handful of students, outraged by the university's plutonium storage, decide to take matters into their own hands by taking the material and constructing an atomic bomb as a statement. When a savvy businessman discovers the bomb's whereabouts and makes off with it, Spider-Man is called into action. He must race against time to locate the stolen weapon and neutralize its threat before disaster strikes.
