On February 26, 1993, a devastating explosion shook the parking garage of the World Trade Center, resulting in the tragic deaths of six individuals and injuring over a thousand others. The blast created a massive crater that plunged five stories deep. The perpetrators, Mohammed Salameh, Nidal Ayyad, Mahmud Abouhalima, Ahmad Ajaj, Ramzi Yousef, and Eyad Ismoil, were apprehended and ultimately sentenced to life imprisonment for their roles in this horrific act.
