Shooting Stars
Overview
Shooting Stars combines comedy with a unique panel game format, originally piloted on BBC Two in 1993 and airing three full series from 1995 to 1997. After a stint on BBC Choice in 2002, where it ran for two series, the show returned to BBC Two for an additional three series until its cancellation in 2011. Created and hosted by the comedic duo Vic Reeves and Bob Mortimer, the show's humor is characterized by its slapstick, surreal, and anarchic style, often bending or disregarding traditional game show rules to create chaotic laughter.
