As tensions reach a breaking point, Adebisi decides to poison Schibetta, though the act isn’t lethal. With Glynn's brother confessing to murder, Glynn feels free from any obligations to Schibetta. Sister Peter Marie discovers that Giles was a witness to her husband's murder. Poet, now with a published book, secures his parole, but Governor Devlin cuts funding for McManus's high-school equivalency initiative. Beecher is devastated upon learning of his wife's suicide, and although Keller tries to console him, his attempts are rejected. Meanwhile, O'Reily has fallen for Dr. Nathan and enlists his brother Cyril to eliminate her husband.
