Episode Overview
In this intense challenge, four bladesmiths must make a challenging choice. They select their mild steel from a barrel to craft a san mai blade, but opting for easier mild steel means their high carbon steel will be tougher to work with. Those who make the smartest selections and pass the tests return to replicate a legendary weapon from medieval times—the Belgian Walloon Sword. Ultimately, two smiths will face off in the final testing arena, but only one can claim victory, taking home $10,000 and the prestigious title of Forged in Fire Champion.
