Overview
A tranquil village nestled in the Ardennes becomes the backdrop for a chilling mystery when a sixteen-year-old girl vanishes into the woods after a late-night call to her teacher. Captain Gaspard Deker, a recently arrived single father and former soldier, leads the investigation alongside local officer Virginie Musso. They are joined by Eve Mendel, the enigmatic teacher with a haunting history; she was discovered as a child by the village doctor, lost and mute in the very same forest. As secrets unravel, the search intensifies, revealing the dark undercurrents of the seemingly peaceful community.
