Episode Overview

Lelouch leads the Black Knights in a strike back against Britannia, reflecting on how his memories were erased: a year earlier, after Suzaku turned him in, the Emperor used his Geass to overwrite Lelouch's mind with fabricated recollections. A prototype Knightmare, the Vincent, arrives and throws the Black Knights into chaos. They collapse Babel Tower as a diversion, crushing Viceroy Carares in the process and clearing a path to the Chinese Federation Consulate, where they escape. Zero announces his plan to rebuild the United States of Japan. Britannian forces pull back, but the Vincent's pilot, Rolo, refuses to retreat. Confronting Li Xingke at the consulate, he reveals he also wields Geass.
