Episode Overview
Caje struggles with the weight of having killed a Frenchman, and he tries to cope by focusing on the man's daughter. The squad starts to feel concerned about Caje's state of mind. Saunders realizes he needs to help Caje regain his sense of self before it's too late. The turning point comes when the town is assaulted by the Germans, providing Saunders with the opportunity to reach out and bring Caje back from the brink.
