Overview

Struan's, a prestigious international trading company, faces a dire financial crisis under the leadership of new tai-pan Ian Dunross. Struggling with the burdens left by previous management, Dunross resorts to issuing public stock to stabilize the company, but it falls short of his needs. Complicating matters, American billionaire Linc Bartlett, initially courted as a private investor, secretly supports Dunross' rival, Quillian Gornt. As Gornt's influence grows, Dunross finds himself racing against time to build new alliances and mend old ones to save the beleaguered Noble House from destruction.
