Episode Overview

Spike is tasked with caring for an egg for a week, meant to simulate the responsibilities of having a baby. Meanwhile, Stephanie and Alexa both find themselves drawn to Simon, the new kid at school. Stephanie feels a pang of jealousy when she sees him mingling with Alexa at Lucy's party. In a moment of guilt, Shane offers to help Spike, who hands the egg over to him. At the party, Shane starts playfully tossing the egg around with his friends. Upset by his carelessness, Spike confronts Shane, expressing her disappointment. Later, Shane tells his parents that he got Spike pregnant.
