Episode Overview

Returning to work after Helena's passing, a grieving PJ insists he’s ready to resume his duties, despite his colleagues at the station encouraging him to take more time off. Meanwhile, a wealthy builder's wife goes missing, her abandoned car discovered near the river. Gary Parker seems to lead an idyllic life with his wife Catriona and their two young kids, but things aren't as they appear. While the Heelers suspect suicide, PJ believes Gary may be involved. Catriona had just filled her tank and treated herself to a salon visit before vanishing, raising doubts about the suicide theory, especially with her son's birthday approaching. As Jo and PJ delve into the Parkers' seemingly perfect life, they uncover troubling truths, with Catriona's hairstylist Chloe revealing she was her only confidante. The search of the river yields no clues.
