My Kind of Town combines elements of a variety show and a game show, inviting 200 participants from a small American town to New York City for a chance to win prizes through various games and antics. Hosted by Johnny Vaughan, the highlight is the "Name Your Neighbors" challenge, where a preselected contestant must identify six individuals featured in the episode, enabling the entire audience to win. Despite airing after reruns of popular shows like Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, it struggled in ratings, leading to its cancellation by ABC after just four episodes aired.
