The first guests to arrive at the barn are Cassie and Sue Day from Swindon, who bring a well-worn trumpet that once belonged to Sue's father, used every New Year's Eve to play Auld Lang Syne in the street. Next, Marilyn Rossel and her sister Margot from Eastbourne present an old metal roundabout for Dominic Chinea to fix. Finally, Gil Lee from Burnley arrives with a champion speed walker's belt for Brenton West and Suzie Fletcher to restore.
