Episode Overview
Jax has had enough of the constant fighting and decides to leave his team. Despite his friends' attempts to change his mind, he is firm in his choice and heads to his late grandfather's house. There, he meets Ruby, who turns out to be a spy for Shao Kahn, seeking the location of the Earth Warriors' base. Unaware of the threat, Jax is soon captured by Ermac's forces and taken to a cave beneath Shao Kahn's castle for torture. Fortunately, his friends catch wind of his situation and rush to his rescue. However, they find themselves outnumbered by Shao Kahn's army. Just when things seem hopeless, Ruby switches sides and helps the Earth Warriors escape through a secret passage. Realizing he cannot ignore the dangers threatening Earth, Jax rejoins his team.
