Episode Overview
In the Boston area, a series of severely beaten bodies are discovered, leading Sam and the team to deduce that these men were caught in a brutal underground fighting ring. Their investigation takes them to local hospitals, where they encounter one of the fighters. Although he is tight-lipped, Sam pieces together that all the victims were desperate for cash. The team identifies a common bookie among them, eventually extracting a confession about his involvement in the murders. It turns out he provides names of these vulnerable men to a manipulative figure who forces them into deadly matches fueled by drugs and violence. To infiltrate the fights, John goes undercover, and the episode culminates with Sam and the team racing against time to rescue him from becoming the next victim of this twisted spectacle.
