A Year of School

Overview

In 2007, Fred, a 17-year-old who has just relocated from Sweden to northeastern Italy, starts her final year of high school—only to discover she's the lone girl in a class full of boys. Vivacious and attractive, she instantly draws attention, particularly from three classmates: Antero, charming yet aloof; Pasini, an arrogant womanizer; and Mitis, blunt and wise. The trio has been inseparable for years, but Fred's presence strains their friendship. While each secretly wants her, Fred longs to be embraced by the group as "one of them"—yet the price of belonging keeps rising.
