The Contractor (2018)
Overview
Los Internationals offers a gritty, Latin-infused twist on action ensemble films like The Expendables and The A-Team. Centered around a diverse squad of Spanish-speaking operatives from across South America and the Caribbean, the narrative balances thrilling adventure with a poignant examination of societal violence and its portrayal in video games. As the characters confront both external threats and their internal struggles, the film aims to highlight the stark realities of violence and its consequences on youth, providing both entertainment and a thought-provoking commentary.
