The Seed (2022)

Overview

Rainer strives to prove himself as a site manager, hoping to turn his career around amidst the city's soaring rents. He, along with his pregnant wife and 13-year-old daughter Doreen, has relocated to a rundown house on the outskirts, a challenging new chapter for the family. Initially resistant to her new environment, Doreen finds camaraderie with her wealthy neighbor, Mara, whose privileged upbringing comes with its own limitations. Their friendship quickly spirals into trouble as Mara encourages Doreen to engage in mischievous pranks and theft, leading them both down a dangerous path.
